Be it hybrid formats, workshops and education programs, international networks, or digital infrastructures. We design and conduct living digital archives, social media concepts, and postproductions for the collective digital memory. We support, advise, curate, and mediate digital projects, whether for private institutions and collections or public institutions, collections or universities, and other educational institutions.

Background:
We started our network with people who used to work together in different projects in cooperation with the former Imaging and Media Lab of the University of Basel. Due to its success, the Lab was transformed on the one hand into a Digital Humanities Master and PhD curriculum, with a wide range of education and research and on the other hand into the DaSCH the Data and Service Center for the Humanities. To continue the earlier successful digital culture projects and GLAM cooperation, Virtual Culture still collaborates with graduates and researchers from the University.
